2002 Blend "La Provençale" from California

La Provençale is an intriguing wine that reflects the traditional southern Rhône Valley style, made to bring fun and warmth to a meal. Lighter bodied than the Jade Mountain Mourvèdre, it is nonetheless harvested very ripe so that the fruit flavors have punch and style. The Grenache, although only 13 percent of the blend, adds spice and freshness and the Syrah contributes plum and cherry flavors.
