Dark purple color almost black. Aromas of licorice, black cherries, dark chocolate and toast. Velvety texture but with slightly sharp tannins. Big, full flavors of plush cherries, espresso, raspberries and smoke hints follow through to the silky finish. Needs time to soften but will be very complex and flavorful in another 3-5 years.
