Give this wine plenty of time to open up otherwise, you may find it tight and tannic. That or let this wine age for a another few years. Currently, this expressive wine has aromas of blackberries, earthy spices, gnarly woods, leather and smoke. Full, bold flavors with dark fruit and loads of spicy nuances from black pepper, cigar box flavors and earth tones. Very rustic finish boasting chewy tannins, tobacco and a mix bag of dark cherries and jammy blackberries.
Lush aromas of crushed fruit and brambly spices. Blackberry and black cherry flavors persist. Fine black pepper nuance with a hint of cigar box. Supple mid-palate tannins are ripe and lengthy. Not mainstream and intriguing. Synergistic blend of components: Cab Sauv and Aglianico provide structure and richness while Syrah spices up the blend.

I've tasted this wine over a week's time of being open then simply vacuum sealed and it continued to soften though maintained it's rustic, gnarly qualities. Really unique and enjoyable.
