Highly Recommended

VineSugar Review:

Exquisite. Phenomenal. Unlike any other wine you think you've enjoyed. This field blend makes you wish more winemakers would just "blend and be happy". When you're dealing with Sonoma's oldest vineyard that's comprised of over 20 varietals, the levels of complexity become uncontested. This wine is perfectly balanced and overwhelm the senses with each taste and every smell. Full, harmonious black fruit laced with herbs, spice and wonderful earth nuances that linger long after you've savored the first sip. Simply stunning.

Winemaker Notes

The color of our signature Old Hill Zin is dark purple and the aromas are wonderfully complex. There is an impressive array of sweet cherries, blackberries, plums and earthy "old hill" spice that lend structure and depth. The French oak contributes toast and vanilla aromas while enhancing the ripe grape tannins on the finish. Follow the evolution of this wine in your glass as it opens up or decant if you are in a hurry. The wine will reach its peak maturity in 7 - 10 years.
