Price: $26.00 Review Date: 2006-12-09

This is one sexy wine that is sure to set the mood! This boast some juicy pears, baby! Fabulously fresh pear, hints of white peach, orange and citrus aromas. Wonderfully smooth entry and rich, exotic fruit flavors. Full mouth feel with great depth and layers. The finish lingers tropical fruits: pineapple, mango and papayas and hints of lime. Nice acidity, well balanced.
An aroma that is distinctively pear, with a squeeze of lime and a faint hint of pastry opens into a confection of pineapple, mango, and starfruit flavors with a twist of orange rind.
Fruit was sourced from Chequera Vineyard and Hansen Vineyard in the Templeton Gap, and from Starr Ranch in the hilly Adelaida Hills district of west Paso Robles. The wine was barrel fermented and aged sur lies for six months in neutral French oak.
