History

The origin of the Steven Kent Collection -- Steven Kent and Merrillie --dates back to 1966, the year my father, then 25 years old, tasted first-growth Bordeaux for the first time. From those young man's dreams of so many years ago (subsequently passed on to his son) came the appreciation of and inspiration for the creation of our own seminal wines-profound wines that exhibit tell-tale characteristics of their vinous lineage and are indelibly branded by the terroir in which they are grown. The Steven Kent Collection represents the highest and the best of which we are capable. The Collection is comprised of only a small number of varietals handcrafted in extremely limited quantities from only the finest fruit and cooperage.
